| Abstract | Analisar o padrão de ocorrência de incêndios e queimadas tem sido essencial para o monitoramento ambiental de atividades e áreas suscetíveis no âmbito municipal. O estudo teve como objetivo identificar a densidade de focos de incêndio e queimadas, buscando definir um padrão de ocorrência no município de Sorocaba, entre 2007 e 2017. O levantamento dos focos foi realizado em formato shapefile vetorial no Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) para todos o ano de 2007 a 2017, processados e especializados no software ArcGis, utilizando o estimador de kernel. Identificou-se 420 focos no período de dez anos, sendo 2008 como o ano de menor ocorrência enquanto o ano de 2014 como o de maior quantitativos de focos. Sorocaba apresenta um padrão de ocorrência de focos de incêndios e queimadas em três áreas especificas, localizadas na região norte e leste, revelando a necessidade de atuação em atividades e monitoramento nestes locais. ABSTRACT: Analyzing the pattern of occurrence of fires has been essential for the environmental monitoring of activities and areas susceptible at the municipal level. The study aimed identify the density of fires outbreaks and burned, in order to define a pattern of occurrence in Sorocaba, between 2007 and 2017. The survey of the outbreaks was carried out in vector shapefile format at the National Institute Space Research (INPE) for all year 2007 to 2017, processed and specialized in ArcGis software, using the kernel estimator. 420 outbreaks were identified in the ten years period, being 2008 as the year of lowest occurrence while the year of 2014 as the greatest number of outbreaks. Sorocaba presents a pattern of occurrence of fires outbreaks and burned in three specific areas, located in the north and east, revealing the need to perform activities and monitoring in these places. |
